We are inviting all parents and members of our wider community to participate in a formal consultation regarding proposed changes to The Bulmershe School's Admission Arrangements for entry into Year 7 starting in September 2027.

The key proposals involve simplifying our oversubscription criteria to remove the school's designated area (catchment) as a factor. Instead, priority would be given to children with siblings already at the school, followed by all other applicants ranked solely by straight-line distance from the school's main entrance.

This change is being proposed to ensure our admissions process is fairer, more inclusive, and easier to understand. The consultation runs from 1st December 2025 to 12th January 2026. Please read the full document below and submit your feedback if you wish to respond to these proposed changes
